Lingual Braces Experience - I love love love my teeth.Dr benson has been understanding about my list of needs since the first visit. I am 30 years old, needed my teeth to be perfect but didn’t want traditional braces at my age. Invisalign was not a great option either as I felt regular brackets were more efficient in what I wanted to achieve with my smile. I searched far and wide and found dr benson, one of the only orthodontists who specialized in lingual (behind the teeth braces) that way I could still go about my days without feeling insecure about a mouth full of metal every time I would smile. Every appointment I had something to say or something to point out. She was very patient with me the entire time, never made me feel like an annoyance or a bother and always kindly adjusted anything that even remotely bothered me. She took the time to listen and do whatever it took so I could end up with the smile of my Dreams! Attention to detail would be an understatement. She had a microscope for all of my needs making sure any and all was exactly to my liking. I know I can be difficult which is why I appreciated Dr Benson and her entire kind and professional staff for exceeding all of my expectations. Honestly people did not even know I had braces the entire time. People were shocked when I told them I did. The best part was that my first initial reaction upon walking into the office, I thought that there was no way I could afford this place. She had all state of art equipment, and she was board certified. I thought for sure it was outside of my budget. Couldn’t be more far from the truth. I think I excitedly embraced her when she quoted me the price. I was thrilled that it was within my budget and of course my first pick since she was the only reputable doctor that specialized in lingual. If you don’t know, lingual is extremely hard to encounter. Not many orthodontist practice this method. Thank goodness for Dr benson! Cheers to her amazing staff also! It always felt like family. Kristy is MY GIRL! She just gets my needs. I know I’m a needy patient, and often times there are multiple assistants in the office who work with you all throughout your time with them. And because I’m needy and particular, I like everything a certain way. KRISTY is that for me. If anything slightly deters from what I find comfortable, I’m miserable until the next visit. You would never know if it was her first time doing anything because she attacks every task with confidence, agility, accuracy, and attention to detail. Those are qualities that I want when someone is working on the improvement of my smile. COMPETENCY is important. She’s quick, and you can really tell she’s a go getter. Lingual braces have been a challenge for me but since Kristy has been consistently working on me, the challenges are now a thing of the past. I had to call the office twice more since then to make EVEN MORE adjustments and with every phone call and office visit, they have never made me feel like an inconvenience, but rather that my comfort is their utmost priority. I truly appreciate everyone in The Art Of Braces. We visited several Orthodontists to determine which would be best suited to meet my son's orthodontic needs. I was really impressed by Dr. Benson and her team. They were very professional and welcoming when we arrived. Dr. Benson's knowledge and ability to clearly articulate what was needed, the options available, the procedure and the time frame involved for my son's braces made me feel confident she would be a good choice. I made a similar observation of all the other orthodontists as well, however, Dr. Benson was patient, didnt rush through the consultation and answered all my questions as well as my son's. The one determining factor that set her aside as the best choice for my son is there was something about Dr. Benson's delivery that demonstrated a passion for her specialty. That spoke volumes! I came to Dr. Benson as an adult seeking orthodontic treatment. I am pretty old fashioned when it comes to orthodontic practices and the way I am used to things being done. The Art of Braces is by far the best facility that I have been to! The moment that you walk in you are graced with the jaw-dropping photos that are taken by Dr. Benson herself. After walking around her office for about 5 minutes, you’ll instantly notice that she’s just as good at photography as she is with teeth! The entire office makes it almost impossible for you to not feel at home. There’s coffee, phone chargers, and a self portrait booth (pretty much anything a millennial can ask for). Her assistant, Januari, is the friendlies and most efficient dental assistant that I’ve had. She doesn’t hesitate to tell me about how her cats are doing (we’re both cat lovers), and she always remembers details about my teeth for each visit to accommodate any areas that I usually struggle with. These two have such a passion for their profession and are such a solid team. Even on those days that I think I’m just going in there for a tightening, Dr. Benson uses her skills to re-create my smile into a work of art (I’ve had my braces on for about 2 years now). I literally am going to be sad when these braces come off because that’ll mean that I won’t be able to have an excuse to visit them once a month. Love everything about this office! It's totally modern (phone chargers in the lobby, beautiful art on the walls, etc), easy to get to, has ample parking, etc. The staff is extremely friendly and professional! The price is very competitive considering how new and awesome the office is! The consultation for braces was super informative and I really felt like I had all the information I needed to make the right decision for me! Dr. Benson was kind, thoughtful and obviously is a perfectionist. I only want to do braces once so this was very important to me in picking my doctor! Also, her eye for esthetic detail made me realize that I need to have her do my Botox!
